January 9 - 10th
Our vision is to offer an unparalleled opportunity for our club athletes and others to train with collegiate and professional coaches one-on-one, enabling them to understand what coaches are looking for, what the training regimen is like, and to develop a relationship with decision makers at the next level.
A rotation of collegiate coaches will take place on Saturday and Sunday in order to maximize not only the players' experience, but also to give them the ability to train and interact with coaches from all divisional levels.
During this year's event, campers will also have the unique opportunity to participate in full sided scrimmages (9 v 9, 11 v 11) in which they will be able to showcase their talents in a dynamic game environment.
Each year proves to have remarkable success with 2020 attracting 50 college coaches, representing 17 different conferences throughout the country including some of the greatest coaching minds in the game. Our ID camps are open to all 7th grade to 12th grade boys and girls regardless of skill level.
Our College ID Camp has attracted players from Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Arizona, Nor Cal, Utah, and So Cal over the last 5 years..
Registration of campers will be processed in the order we receive them until the camp is full.
**Per NCAA recruiting rules our College Soccer ID Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, grade in school, or enrollment cap. Legends FC College ID Camp welcomes players from grade 7 to grade 12.
On November 18th, NCAA announced that the Division 1 recruiting dead period will be extended to April 15, 2021, thus no in person contact with D1 coaches is allowed through that date. We had anticipated this as a possibility so already have an alternative plan in place to make sure that all of the campers attending get the identification opportunity they are looking for.
1) The event will still take place on January 9-10, 2021 as scheduled
2) College coaches from around the country will still run the training sessions (NCAA D2, D3, and NAIA)
3) We will live stream the event and give access to all Division 1 college coaches in addition to the rest of the universities in the country
4) We will modify our schedule slightly to cater towards match related trainings and other ways we can showcase the players abilities in person and live
5) We will provide TRACE to all players during this event which tracks performance results and video that can be used to send personally to college coaches
6) We will add a component of testing the players in technical and physical categories that can be used towards sending to the coaches
7) We will bring in guest speakers to discuss the recruitment process and how to navigate through all of the change now and in the future
We will keep all the great things from our annual College ID Camp and add a lot more dimensions to it. Through livestream we will showcase the players individually, in their group activities, and in match related play, etc..
In addition to running the camp as scheduled, we will also provide a spring camp once the Division 1 coaches are allowed to attend per NCAA rules. By completing the registration process including payment by December 18, 2020 the camper will have the opportunity to receive 2 camps (January Camp and Spring Camp (Date TBD) for the price of 1 camp and there will be no extra charges. For your reference, the early discount price of $225 will remain in effect through December 18, 2020. We have some targeted dates after the end of the new dead period in mind already, just want to do some more due diligence with college coaches on a date that would work for them. We will circulate our new spring dates in the very near future as we are able to finalize all of the details and will also share the exact format for the January 9-10, 2021 event.
The most important mission of Legends FC and our College ID Camp is the placement of players collegiately. We know that all of these aspiring college athletes have had a difficult time through this pandemic and we want to help them. Even though the D1 dead period recruitment date got pushed back we can still use technology, creativity, and our long history of relationships and trust with the college coaches to help these players. We are excited to evolve this event based on the circumstances and showcase their abilities in a way that will spotlight and help them take the next step in the recruitment
